With this race being dubbed as the winter national warm up race it was going to be everything but fun!
Most of the uk top drivers were in attendance with the exception of 2 or 3.
The format of the day was going to be 5 rounds of qualifying using the FTD method this meaning that rnd 5 was going to be the rocket round. This was perfect for the team as it allowed us to change things each Round without it being to big of a risk
The top 3 Xray drivers present started off well in round 1 with jimmy Maddison taking Tq in the round followed by James heart in 2nd and Phil chambers in 7th
Jimmy held tq in the 4th round with James heart dropping to 3rd and Phil climbing to 4th.
The 5th and final round was all to play for but it didn't go quite to plan a Change of additive for jimmy made his car push and was very loose in the rear causing a mistake, and ruining any chance of improving.
Jimmys time was good enough to keep him 2nd on the grid followed by his team mates James in 3rd and Phil in 4th.
For the main a decided to put all my data together and gamble on a set up change, which I have been wanting to try for a while. I also change my additive back to what I was using.

In the main everything was just perfect , and the change paid off, I was able to close in a put pressure on Matt and squeeze by coming on to the main straight.
